| BULLET® Chain |
- The BULLET® Chain is the only chain built from the ground up to hold a carbide tip and engineered specifically for Fire Rescue cutting. All other carbide-tipped chains start with a standard chain saw cutter that has been modified by grinding away some of the cutter in order to hold a carbide tip. This weakens the cutter body and allows for only very narrow backing and soldering surface for the carbide tip.
- The BULLET® Chain raker is shaped like the nose of a bullet to protect the carbide's 180 degree cutting edge. Rather than cutting and slicing, the BULLET® Chain actually files through materials. This filing action makes the BULLET® Chain the safest chain, virtually eliminating kickback.
- BULLET® Chain is designed with more cutting surface so it continues cutting even with substantial amounts of carbide broken off.
- BULLET® Chain is the only carbide-tipped chain built to withstand the rigors of prolonged Fire Rescue cutting.

 |
| DUAL RAKER Carbide-Tipped Chain |
|
- DUAL RAKER Chain uses modified standard chain saw chain cutters with material ground away and a second side-piece riveted on to form a seat for the carbide tip to be soldered to. Compared to B3E and other single raker carbide-tipped chains the backing and soldering surfaces are increased and the additional raker gauge helps protect the carbide tip.
- DUAL RAKER is the most expensive to repair because the manufacturing technique of soldering on an additional side plate (essentially a second standard chain saw cutter cut in half lengthwise) captures 2 drive links, so a replacement cutter consists of: 1- carbide-tipped cutter, 2-drive links, 2 presets and 2 tie straps.
- CUTTERS EDGE DUAL RAKER CARBIDE-TIPPED Chain is the same chain as the Tempest “Raptor”. SuperVac “Chisel” and Team Equipment’s“Terminator” Chains.

 |
| B3E Carbide-Tipped Chain |
|
- B3E Chain is the fastest cutting of all carbide-tipped chains but it loses its cutting speed rapidly when cutting materials other than wood.
- B3E Chain has low durability when materials other than wood are encountered.
- B3E Chain uses modified standard chain saw chain cutters with material ground away to form a seat for the carbide tip.
- B3E Chain, while initially the fastest cutting, can lose its cutting speed quickly as carbide tips are broken easily when material other than wood is cut.
- CUTTERS EDGE B3E CARBIDE TIPPED Chain is the same chain as Unifire’s “Cobra” and “Sabretooth” Chains.
